Description
Triangular kernos in hand-made pottery formed by three pear-shaped vessels with a rounded base connected by three channels: the surface is burnished. Kernoi are complex vessels in a Greek tradition but also present in the Iberian culture where they were given a ritual sense related to some type of domestic cult to perform libations or bloodless worship. This piece was found on Floor 24 in the Iberian city of Molino de Espliego, in the level of the final abandonment of the settlement around 200 BC
