Description
Skull of cave bear (Ursus spelaeus). The skull is broad and domed with a steep sunken forehead and a muzzle that is less pronounced than in current bear species. It preserves two large tusks in the upper jaw and two large molars, although other teeth are missing. A feature of this animal is the lack of premolars.
