Description
Sculptural element in the form of a shield. In the centre of one side is a relief representation of a running hare, and the other side has a head with a strange hairstyle with hair on the forehead upwards. The oscilla were common ornaments in Roman gardens, as they used to hang in the intercolumniation in the peristyle, so that they swung in the wind.
