Description
The study of the morphology of Tomb 184 and how its complex grave goods were organized, with metallic pieces and a large collection of pottery vessels, has identified a veritable banquet assemblage. This has allowed us to interpret the cremated individual as part of the elite social group and even that he could have been a foreigner established in the community who used the Necropolis of Can Bech de Baix in Agullana. Funerary urn with a large vertical cylindrical handle, decorated all over its surface with four horizontal bands (MAC BCN-017652). Handmade ceramic bowl used as a funerary urn lid. Conical shape, bevelled lip and decoration of a straight line based on a double incised line, and small foot (MAC BCN-017653). Urn of the "Cruz del Negro" type, with a slight tendency to a double frustoconical form. It has a high, almost cylindrical neck with an everted rim and two handles (MAC BCN-017720). Ovoid urn with a long neck and slightly everted rim. It has a vertical handle and is decorated with large incisions in the upper body (MAC BCN- 017721). Small ovoid vessel with a high neck and concave walls. It has a vertical handle between the belly and neck. There is no decoration (MAC BCN-017722). Lid with surfaces smoothed with a spatula. It is shaped like a sphere (MAC BCN-017723). Small almost hemispherical vessel with bevelled lip and horizontal handle. It displays decoration on top (MAC BCN-017724). Urn lid, has a spherical shape with a horizontal side handle. It also has an umbo base (MAC BCN-017725). Carinated vessel with horizontal lateral side handle and umbo base (MAC BCN-017726). A “Cruz del Negro” type vessel with an ovoidal body, almost cylindrical neck and two symmetrical handles at the height of the neck and a strengthening in the mouth (MAC BCN-017727). A "Cruz del Negro" ceramic urn with a slight tendency to aconical shape. With an almost cylindrical neck and two symmetrical handles at the height of the neck, it has a reinforcement in the mouth (MAC BCN-017728). A "Cruz del Negro" ceramic urn, has an ovoidal body, almost cylindrical neck and two symmetrical twin handles at the height of the neck. It has a reinforcement in the mouth (MAC BCN-017729). A small offerings recipient with ovoidal profile without foot or neck. The base is flat (MAC BCN-017730). An urn lid in the shape of a spherical cap, with a horizontal side handle and umbo base. Inside, coinciding with the ends of the handle, there are two protuberances (MAC BCN-017731). A conical-shaped lid with a vertical side handle in the form of a tape (MAC BCN-017732). Small recipient with an “S”-shaped profile and a slight narrowing at the start of the neck. It has a vertical ribbon-shaped side handle and a flat base (MAC BCN-017733). A lid of a funeral urn with a profile in the shape of a spherical cap, horizontal handle and umbo base (MAC BCN-017734).
