Description
Coin in the Semite series, mint of Ebussus. Obverse: God Bes in a standing position, skirt and hat with feathers on the head. In his left hand he holds a snake and in his right a mace with which he touches his head. On the left, the Neopunic letter aleph. Reverse: border of points with two lines of a Neopunic inscription ‘YBSM and the number 50. A little worn. It corresponds to the period III, Group XIX of Campo, with the Bes style a. It was found in Sector 01 in the 1987 excavation, medieval blacksmithy. Ref: CNH, p. 97, no. 58.
