Description
Ovoid recipient with a convex base. Two robust tape handles are located at the height of the shoulder and are prehensile elements. It was made with a brown fabric and the outer surface was brushed. A slightly convex base. Brushed decoration on the surface is characteristic of the Early Neolithic (second half of the fifth millennium BC). Due to the size and shape of the container it must have been used for storage. It was found in 1975 during a trial excavation at Cova del Dos which documented an extensive prehistoric diachronic range from the Neolithic to the late Bronze Age.
