Description
Core for Levallois flakes in grey-blue flint and with a flat-convex section. It has a surface with negatives of several extractions that correspond to a recurrent centripetal exploitation characteristic of the use of the Levallois method. This knapping method is typical of the Middle Paleolithic (Mousterian) and produces flakes with standardized morphologies that were used later by retouching their shape into sidescrapers, denticulates, endscrapers and points, among other tools.
